Don't get punched... you can easily learn how to make your head very difficult to hit in a fight.

By adding the right defensive movements to your fighting style, you can have a huge advantage in any type of hand-to-hand combat... both in the street and in the ring.

It takes one punch to knock you unconscious...
and that's bad.

Getting punched is bad

 Don't get punched

Fights are bound to happen.  Even if you try to be a 'nice' person, you'll probably be forced to 'defend yourself' at some point or another.

The truth is, even if you know how to fight, no matter how hard you can strike, or how tough you might be, all it takes is one single punch to leave you sleeping and defenseless on the sidewalk.

That 'truth' put butterflies in my stomach throughout the course of my teenage and adult life.

Fear makes you queazy... not a good feeling.

However, if you can't get hit,
then it's almost impossible to lose...

(So if you can Bob and Weave, I suppose your problems are solved.)

Unfortunately, no one ever teaches head movement! The 'art' of dodging punches has practically disappeared from modern martial arts!  Even if you tried to go out and learn, you probably wouldn't be able to do it.

If I had a dollar for every "Black Belt" who I've seen fighting with his head always in the exact same predictable spot... I would probably have about 50 bucks... so... I could buy something kinda cool.

Look, I don't care how good your offense is, if your head never moves, it's going to get punched... I learned this the hard way.

At one point, I had a semi-serious career as a professional fighter... and I got punched in the face A LOT.  My defense was simply horrendous... and I maintained the nagging fear that one single mistake might leave me twitching and unconscious in front of my friends and family.

However, I did get to train and learn all day long...

I was able to experiment with countless martial arts, and I got to work with dozens of fight trainers.  After going through about 15 of them, finally, one single coach was able to show me the amazing simplicity of head movement... and my entire game changed.

The bruises on my face slowly faded away, and the fear of getting knocked out in a street fight actually became laughable. I muse admit, it was pretty sweet.

Then, I taught this stuff... for 12 years.

Trav coaching...Being a fighter doesn't necessarily make you a coach.  A great trainer is able to break down and explain the finer points of every technique so that anyone can do it... I was basically forced to learn this skill by opening a private MMA training business, and doing it for 8 hours a day.

For more than a decade I taught kids, moms, old people, and completely unathletic noobs how to bob and weave.

Average Joes became impossibly hard to hit, and they built counter-punching skills that could instantly knock people unconscious.

More importantly, I became very aware of what makes every single technique work, the most common mistakes that people make, and I figured out exactly what I needed to say in order to get people to do the moves correctly.

This simple system
will make you practically un-hittable.

If you want to learn one of the best defensive skills in all of fighting, I literally guarantee that I can teach you. In a few weeks, you can have an unfair advantage in self-defense scenarios; and if you go to a gym, you will have a major edge on the other people you train with.

  • Other fighters will be dumbfounded

The shameful neglect of head movement in most martial arts will give you an amazing edge on other people you might face. Other fighters will have crappy defense, and they will freeze as soon as they stop landing punches and start getting smacked in the head. You will quickly become one of the best fighters at your gym.

  • Dodge and then Counterpunch... it's a great way to win.

Not only does dodging punches leave your face intact, when you make your opponent miss, he is left off-balance and vulnerable. This is the perfect time to knock him out… if you know how to do it. On top of your head movement, the counter punching techniques that I teach will allow you to win fights within seconds.

  • Confidence is powerful... in more ways then one

People can sense confidence. When you learn this type of defensive movement, it can completely change your attitude. Confidence in your defensive skill will change the way that you carry yourself.  Fewer people will want to fight you…  and girls seem to like it 😉

  • Get into shape!

Nothing is more useless than running on a treadmill.  If you’re going to exercise and get into shape, you might as well build a powerful fighting skill.  The workouts and drills in my training system will drastically improve your physique, and give you some solid abs.

  • Be impressive.

Winning fights is cool, but being un-punchable is amazing.  If you dodge even a small handful of punches and then win a fight, it will be considered a ‘legendary’ event… and people will tell tales of your awesomeness. (I’m not even kidding.)

Deciding not to learn this skill could be most unfortunate...

  • Getting knocked unconscious is really, really, realllllly bad

When your sleeping body finally hits the ground and your head spikes off of the pavement, it tends to leave a mark. It’s hard to defend yourself from head-stomps when you have no control of your body…

  • Losing a fight can be humiliating

Losing a fight can be really embarrassing… depending on the fight (and who you’re fighting). There’s often a lot at stake from a personal level, and people see you get your butt kicked tend to remember it.  It’s a crappy impression to leave on someone, and it can cost you some respect.

  • Backing down from a fight is more humiliating than losing

If you don’t know how to truly defend yourself, you’re more likely to wimp out (even if you’re a trained martial artist).  The only thing more humiliating than losing a fight is showing people that you didn’t have enough courage to fight at all. When you know that your opponent probably won’t lay a finger on you, it makes it a lot easier to step up to a challenge.

The Head Movement Training Program
will teach you how to instinctively dodge every punch.

You can master a really sweet defensive fighting style
in a few weeks... if you work at it.

I've developed a training program which will quickly teach you everything you need to know about the art of head movement and counter-punching. It's a condensed version of years of my defensive boxing and MMA training.

I've created more than 50 instructional videos, written workouts, and other unique training tools that will help you learn every technique, every concept, and every movement necessary to make every punch miss.

If you go through this course, these movements will be embedded into your muscle memory, and you will be able to execute them at any moment's notice... without having to 'think about it'. Accomplish this, and you will win every fight that you face.

Here's a breakdown of the program:

  • The Bob and Weave game consists of a small handful of slips.  Do them the right way, and punches will miss.  If you do them the wrong way,  your head might get clobbered, you fall off balance, and you waste all of your energy.

The first thing we need to do is build the right technique, so you have a solid foundation.

  • Part 2. - Movement, Angles, and Positioning

Standing in one place and slipping will not work.  The bob and weave game is just as much about footwork as it is about head movement.  You will learn the best ways to position yourself and move to keep you safe (which will also leave you ready to counter attack.)

  • Part 3. - Drills and Equipment

Head movement requires some control over your body, and the basic drills in this program will help you to build it (without needing a gym).  A couple of incredibly cheap pieces of equipment (like a rope) can help you to drastically improve your defense.  We will highlight the best drills and equipment for building the skills you need.

  • People ask me all of the time, “How do you know what punch the guy is going to throw?” and “How do you know which slip to use?”  People struggle to grasp how they can “read” their opponent in a split second.  This program answers such questions in detail and gives you the simple secrets behind reading your opponent, and reacting with the ‘right’ movement.

  • Part 5. - Workouts and Training

Throughout the entire Head Movement Training Program, I provide you with workouts to reinforce the skills that you learn.  Knowledge is power, but knowledge and practice is diabolical.  These workouts are constructed from my extensive knowledge of exercise physiology/kinesiology, and countless hours of fight training.  They are designed to embed these moves into your muscle memory so that when the time comes, your body moves instinctively… without ‘thinking’.  Additionally, these workouts will also get you into phenomenal shape.

  • Part 6. - Keeping Distance

At this point in the course, you will have more than enough head movement skill to dodge punches, now you will need to learn how to keep the guy away from you!   More space equals more time to read your opponent’s strikes, and more time to react.  I’ll give you the best ways to knock your opponent back and keep him back, so you can have the distance that you need to bob and weave effectively.

  • Part 7. - Counter Punching and Destroying Your Opponent

Look, head movement is nice and dodging punches is cool.. but, we need to be able to finish fights.  One of the best times to crush your opponent is right after he misses a strike, and you will learn the absolute best ways to do this.

Additionally, one of the best ways to attack your opponent is by adding head movement to your strikes!  You will become hard to hit while you’re attacking… that is a recipe for dishing out damage, and not taking any.

By learning how to add crushing attacks to your defensive (and offensive) slips, you will make yourself a very dangerous fighter.

"Learning this on your own could honestly take years,
and cost you literally thousands of dollars."

dollar signThink about it: one single year at an MMA school (at $15o/month) costs $1,800 dollars... and to be perfectly honest, there is no way that they would show you this stuff in your first year (IF your school even teaches head movement.)

If it takes you 3 years, your total is up to $5,400...

You can hire a private trainer (if you can find one), but a good one will cost $100/hour. Train every day for 3 weeks and you'll pay $2,100.  Even a cheap and crappy trainer for half the price still leaves you paying over $1,000.

Forget that nonsense...
Get the Head Movement Training Program for just $47

You can build all of the skills we've been talking about for a fraction of the price (in less than a month) and you can do it in the privacy of your own home.

  • You don't need to go to a gym
  • You don't need a training partner
  • You don't need any equipment

Watch the videos, do the workouts (if you have time), and you will become incredibly difficult to hit... or I'll actually give your money back.

$47 is worth it... let me in.

If you don't take my word for it,
I suppose you can always read what my members say:

I'm not really one to brag about how awesome my own stuff is...

Hey Trav,

I'm a member of the head movement program (and still very much just a beginner), but I wanted to tell you just how much you have helped so far. The lessons have greatly improved my skills, but even more my confidence.

I just wanted to let you know how much of a difference you're making, (in case you ever get to questioning your life while sitting behind a screen). Keep up the great work. I look forward to honing my skills as we go along.

Hi Trav, I am 44 years old, love boxing but never had the balls to stand up for myself.  I have been watching your videos for a while and had my 1st street fight a week ago.

I am very proud to say that I threw the overhand right set-up from the bob and weave course and knocked the guy straight out (and then all his friends S#$% themselves and backed off).

Thank you so much for your lessons and I guarantee no one is ever going to mess with me again!  Thank you Trav.

Your videos are top shelf sir.

I'm one of the real deal subscribers that purchased the head movement program several months ago, and just gotta say it has significantly upped my game. My balance and stability when throwing punches and kicks is way more solid, I'm faster, much more squirrelly, and much harder to hit.

You have dispelled my previous belief that one can't learn badass martial arts skills on the Internets.

Carry on good man, I will continue to train and work the head movement skills.

T Los Angeles

Without getting too long winded I wanted to let you know how life changing your program has been to me, and by extension to those that I have been training with.

I've obviously been implementing your techniques and training with great results (killin' my peers with the head movement game).

I can't even tell you how helpful it is that you not only break down the technique, but also that you show us the real application and drills.  I get to climb inside your head and know what you're thinking because you explain why you implement every detail.

Overall it really is an invaluable program, and I just wanted to personally thank you for all that you've put into it.

Ok... I'll give it a shot.

Just to make absolutely sure that your
defensive skill becomes ridiculously good...

I've thrown in a few extra tools that will make a big difference in your game.

  • Bonus 1 - The Head Movement Audio Workout (a $30 dollar value)

I created this training tool to make practicing head movement as convenient and effortless as possible.

All you have to do is press ‘Play’ and I will yell out a series of head movements for you to execute.  Then as you do the slips I ask for you will:

    Build sharp head movement
    Get in shape… and
    Make the moves second nature

You don’t need to think, you don’t need to count repetitions or keep track of time, or even look at a piece of paper. All you need is a speaker and 30 minutes…

  • Bonus 2 - The Magical Combination Maker - (a $30 dollar value)

A huge part of the head movement game is combining slips into combinations.  This allows you to dodge flurries of punches, instead of just one at a time.

This magical training tool will allow you to press a button and create a brand-new, printable workout that help you combine your slips into unusual combinations.

It’s a never-ending supply of challenging bobs and weaves that will force you to start moving ‘outside the box’.

This will build your head movement vocabulary and train your mind to communicate these movements to your body.

  • Floyd Mayweather has demonstrated time and time again the insane effectiveness of his defensive style, “The Philly Shell”, in his fights.  Like it or not, even Manny Pacquiao (who can punch approximately 13 Million times per minute) couldn’t even touch the guy.

This style is awesome because if you can use one hand to protect your face, the other can cover the entire front of your body.  This protects your stomach amazingly well, and since you’re not even lifting your front arm, it’s easier to move your entire torso around.

The only problem with this fighting style is that it’s never worked for MMA or ‘no holds barred’ combat.  Boxers who try it either get kicked to death or they taken to the ground.

james-tony-getting-choked copy(James Tony started in the shell… but finished in a choke.)

However, I have unlocked the secret to countering kicks from this position, and modifying it so that your opponent’s takedowns can be neutralized.

This relaxing and elusive style is the perfect compliment for your new head movement skills… perhaps you’ll become the next undefeated champ!

I suppose it can't hurt.

Hey Trav, Just wanted to send a quick email to let you know I have been using the drills in your head movement program religiously for about 3 months now. It is quite literally the most effective tool I have in my arsenal, especially when combined with these counter attacks. I just wanted to say thanks for your time and effort with your videos and that if you ever find yourself in British Columbia, swing by our school! Your teaching would be invaluable and I would love to see you slip a few punches 😉 Thanks again Trav.

Hi Trav,

I'm just sending this to say thank you so much for these programmes. I am 17 years old and a black belt in karate and found this head movement course to be very helpful when sparring.

Not only does it help me to remain calm but also dodge a lot of quick punches. Thanks so much, keep doing what you're doing.  I’m really loving the course and recommend it to anybody out there!

I love this program, the training is great and your coaching is excellent. I have learned a lot and I'm both a boxing and thai boxing coach with over twenty years of martial arts training behind me.

This program would help anyone who wants to learn how to improve their defense, movement and fitness.

Thanks again for the great program and the comedy works a treat; your students are a great laugh and everyone loves a laugh, life is to short to be a serious boring s*** head Best,

Hey Trav, I love the program.  It's the only thing that I use for fitness and it keeps me in good shape. I can feel the movements happening really fluidly, and the only hard part is that it's kind of hard to be creative when linking slips, ducks, and bobs.

Your magical-combination-maker thing helps guys like me get through the lack of head movement creativity, and I really dig it. Aside from that, you're a funny dude, thanks for not being dry and s***ty!

Thanks for making this program, and keep the awesomeness comin' brother!

Hey Trav,

I'm compelled to express how utterly fantastic your HM program is! Either as a stand alone or an addition to an existing discipline, your program is world class. Thanks for the great videos and master instruction.

I have learned more from your classes in weeks than I have in years. Rock on!!

P.S.  When will you conduct another live seminar?

Hey Trav,

I purchased the head movement training... it's the best training I've ever purchased.

It has helped me immensely and I use it daily...  it is my meditation!

It has also made watching boxing/mma more fun and interesting... you are an excellent teacher and keep things fun.

Dear Trav,

I've been practicing head movement and stuff 3 times a week, and I gotta say, it's really changed my game around. I still get hit a few times, but it's never where the other person was actually trying to hit - I can take forearm/shoulder hits all day, and I've only taken like 1-2 hits to the chin from doing something stupid. It's awesome!

And working my footwork just changed everything so much I can really dance around a guy and drive them crazy. Thanks!

Best regards,

Ask Our Team Of Ninja's...

  • q-iconAm I getting DVD's in the mail?

Nope!  The entire program is online, so there will be some stuff that you download, and some stuff that streams directly to any device.  You will have access to the program wherever you go, even without packing your DVD’s and DVD player.

  • q-iconDo I get access to the program forever?

Yes… anything you buy from Fight Smart is yours forever.  There is no ‘expiring membership’ after a certain period of time.  What’s yours is yours… and it stays that way!

  • q-iconWhat if I don't have any experience?

You don’t need any!  I break down every single technique, step-by-step, so that you are built up from Square 1.  You will not be ‘left behind’ or even left frustrated.  Regardless of your experience level, or your athletic ability, I can teach you how to dodge punches… 100%.  In many cases, less experience is better, since I don’t have to help you break any bad habits.

  • q-iconIs there stuff for advanced fighters in here?

Absolutely.  While everyone needs to focus on basic form, I made sure to fill this program with plenty of concepts and techniques that we can all aspire to.  The world of MMA and fighting is limitless… you will be shown countless new techniques, as have potentially years of training to do before you have this stuff ‘perfect’.

  • q-iconWhat if I have some questions?

Shoot me an email!  I’m happy to look at your form and help you in whatever way I can.

  • q-iconDo I need a training partner or a gym to do this?

Absolutely not.  The coolest thing about head movement is that when it’s done correctly, you don’t make contact with anything or anyone!  That makes it the perfect fighting style to practice all by yourself.  All you need is a little open space, and a little imagination.
